Suncatcher B&B Guest Rooms


Two large comfortable guest rooms are available. The Cobequid has a queen bed and the Chignecto Room offers a queen bed plus a single day bed and each room has a spacious 4-piece ensuite.


Full or continental breakfast menu available. Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Off-street parking with in-garage parking for bikes & motor cycles. Open year round. No smoking or pets, please.


Check In Time: after 4 p.m.


Check Out time: 11 a.m.


Cancellation policy: 48 hours notice required.


Payment: Visa, MasterCard, Interac (debit cards), Travelers’ cheques, & old-fashioned cash accepted. There are discounts for multiple night stays & a discount if both rooms are being booked by guests travelling together.


Please note: Reservations between July 1st-September 30th are for multiple nights only.

The Cobequid Guest Room

The Cobequid Room ( 20′ x 8′ / 6m x 2.5m) is a soothing shade of blue & has a Marine theme reflected in the artwork displayed on the walls. The table, chairs, telephone, plus wireless internet, provide convenience & space for guests to review their schedules/plans. The TV is on a movable stand that can be turned to face either end of the room.


The 4-piece ensuite (8′ x 7′ / 2.5m x 1.8m) continues with the Marine theme with many ocean life crafts & collectibles. It is impossible to say how many guests have taken photos of the stained-glass window covering which incorporates real seashells!

Ensuite amenities: hair dryer, & a plentiful supply of bath linens.

The Chignecto Guest Room

The Chignecto Room (13′ x 13′ / 4m x 4m) is a golden shade guaranteed to always brighten your day. The tables & chairs are convenient for using the wireless internet or writing in your daily journal. Both West Coast Haida prints & framed works by well-known Nova Scotian photographers decorate the walls.


The 4-piece ensuite (10′ x 6′ / 3m x 2m) is themed with Nova Scotia songbirds in several mediums: hand-carved Lunenburg folk art, paintings, & needlepoint. Ensuite amenities: hair dryer, & a plentiful supply of bath linens.
